Some sneaky peeky progress shots of my Gamora cosplay from Gardians of the Galaxy part 1. Made from stretch pleather fabrics and mesh panels. I made paper tape patterns, added the decorative seems and attached all the panels. The decorative seems were made by cutting open the fabric, sew it back together and top stitch.

Propbuilding learning curves are steep. I made this scythe twice and the second time it felt so much easier. I loved using roofmate as a base since it wasn’t as hard to work with as I feared it would be. Especially the round parts were so much fun to sand down.
Bringing this prop to Japan sure was a challenge all on its own…
